Re: Double marking strategies

I'm not directly involved in the management of this, but for some courses we do something like:

  1. Use marking workflow.
  2. Assign two markers, neither of which can release grades.
  3. Have one marker grade the work, and upload their feedback.
  4. Have the second marker grade the work, and upload their feedback, amending the first marker if approplriate (or just comment in the feedback box), and finally:
  5. Have Registry review both sets of feedback, follow up any important differences, then release the grade.

I'm not sure if we're doing this with blind marking yet.
