Glad to hear that you figured it out, but unless there's something else holding you back from it, I'd advise moving to the "new" assignment module (mod/assign) and the assignment submission subplugin version of Online Audio instead. There's an assignment upgrade tool (under Site Administration) which you can run as the site administrator in order to migrate your "old" assignments to the "new" assignment module - it should automatically handle the transition to the new subplugin, as long as you have it installed (but I'd advise trying it on a test/development site to make sure, before you run it on your production system!
