Just need to weigh in here on the language used according to the OP. If moodle says "prevent' late submissions, why does the function "allow' late submissions but just marks them as late. This seems like a bug to me...whynot say in moodle in this case "allow" late submissions but mark them as late? And why have this function at all. Any faculty would know what the due date is and they can see the date on moodle when the student hands in something late, so why does one need something like this 'prevent' late submissions option?
