Check in the gradebook whether you have hide the grade till some date for assignment from the Settings > Course administration > Grades. Then turn editing on for that page and in the assignment columm click the edit icon for assignment. Click on the "show advanced" tab and check the Hidden and locked option. may be something wrong over here.
And it is not a bug. I have verified at my end.
