Scales decreasing not increasing

Using Moodle 2.4 and the new assignment activity which was introduced in Moodle 2.3.

Hi Has anyone come across scales in Moodle gradebook since 2.3 and the new assignment module messing up scales.

It has in the moodle docs that scales should be written in increasing value but when this scale gets put in to the assignment module they are displayed in decreasing value?

This is the scale we use 'No Grade, Not Achieved, Achieved' but in order for the new assignment module to read it this way I have to write a new scale called 'Achieved, Not Achieved, No Grade'. Will this cause complications in future upgrades?

Any ideas on a work around? the old assignment module is not available on our site anymore.
