No - I am saying that when you create an assignment and you coose from the dropdown 1 - 100, if you have chosen 12 then that will be the "maximum grade" for that assignment and you can only change that maximum grade by going back into the assignment set up page (If you have added a grade directly to the gradebook, then you will have the option to edit it in the gradebook)
