In the new assignment activity, is there any way that I can allow the student to make only 2 attempts at the assignment submission automatically .
If we enable draft mode - where student need to press a submit button - Then the student gets to upload unlimited times in the draft mode . Once he presses submit, his assignment is locked, until and unless the faculty grants him another attempt
If we set that the student does not need to press the submit button - the student can keep making changes to his submission, again allowing him unlimited attempts.
Since we use Vericite plagiarism detector and it shows the plagiarism score even on the draft assignment, we have this problem , where a student can virtually try unlimited times and reduce his plagiarism score
Any help would be appreciated
