Turnitin 2 - retrospective submission via Moodle assignment

Hi 

We are using Moodle 2.7.4 with turnitintooltwo 2015040110. Students submit to Turnitin directly from within the Moodle assignment activity. For a particular course, all assignments are in pending state with Turnitin.  I suspect Turnitin was configured on the Moodle assignment after the assignments were submitted. Is there a way to force submission of these assignments to Turnitin, or do we have to grant extensions, revert to draft, and resubmit all assignments?
