Here are a few things that would make my life, and the lives of the lecturers that I support, much easier.
So far I've been unable to find any existing plugins that would provide these features and as such I am seeking help from the community.
I'm using Moodle version 2.6 (for the moment) but will be migrating to 2.8 during the summer break.
Restrict access by Grade - BTEC
Currently the only thing you can do is guess the percentage, it would be much more convenience if there was a setting that allowed you to reveal an assignment (or any other object for that matter) based on what BTEC grade the student had achieved. For example a Retake assignment would become available to all students who did not achieve at least a merit, and extension activities would appear for those who achieved a Distinction.
Restrict access by student
This would work by selecting a number of the enrolled users on a course as participants in the assignment.
Follow-up assignment / retake / extension
This would be where you could import the grades and grading structure from a previous assignment and link them, for example in the first assignment if a student got P1 and P2 to achieve a Pass they would only need P3 to achieve a pass in the second follow-up assignment (assuming there were 3 pass requirements for the assignment).
