Definitely. At least it gives us an idea of what could be wrong, and I have an answer for my instructors.
Most of them use courses copied over and over from previous years, so I'm assuming they will all run into this issue, but now I can tell them to recreate any file submission assignments from scratch in order to use this feature until a better solution is found.
