Hi - I also have problems with displaying the "upload" button on assignments. I am on Moodle 2.7.7 (build 20150310). The course material has been imported form Moodle1.9. I have tried editing the existing assignment and have also tried creating a new assignment with no difference to button display, and have also viewed as student as well as admin.
Settings:
Site administration / ► Plugins / ► Activity modules / ► Assignment / ► Assignment settings
Our courses are not done by date so "Allow submissions from"... date settings are all disabled
Require students click submit button - No
Require that students accept the submission statement - No
Course administration / ► This Course / ► Assignment / ► Edit settings
Submission type: File submission
Submission settings: click submit - tried both No and Yes
I've spent about an hour trying to hunt this down - does anyone have any ideas?
