submit assigment in groups

Hi,

is it possible for students to sumit an assigment in pairs, without the teacher manually creating those groups

for example I want my students to submit files in pairs, but I let them pair up by themself

(what i do now is tell both of the students to upload the same file, but that is inconvient in terms of checking the assigments and grading each of them, and also takes up wasted storage)

is it poosible for one of the students to upload the file on behalf of that student?

and then when i grade and feedback that student both of the students will recive that feedback and grade?
