Hi Anis I have come across the same issue. Has the assignment closed for submissions? Are the students' submissions still in "Draft" state?
The solutions I found:
The teacher needs to enable "Send for marking" button in the assignment. Then students must click "send for marking" to finalise their drafts.
OR
The teacher needs to enable "Due date" and "Prevent late submissions"
Without these options enabled, the submissions sit forever in a draft state and cannot be downloaded in bulk.
The cause of this is: "If assignment is open and submission is not finalized then don't add it to zip.", from MDL-30121
This is not made clear in the interface, and may count as a bug in the assignment module.
