Even though the assignment settings are: to have the 'notify students' selected as 'yes', while in the marking area, some students have the drop down menu (yes/no) beside "Notify students" but others just have No (no drop down menu). I've checked through their profiles to see if there was any different but there doesn't seem to be and I'm at a loss as to why this is happening. See screen shot.
Is there a reason it is not possible to notify some students when their assignment has been marked?
