I have an extracurricular activity in my course where students perform an interview and teachers watch them, then input grades across three different parameters. Let's say, creativity, grammar and form. So Teacher A watches Students A, B and C, then inputs individual grades for creativity, grammar and form for each interview.
I thought this would be an easy project to tackle using Assignments and advanced grading, where the teacher uses a marking guide to input the grades for each parameter.
However, this has not been the case. While the teacher can certainly input all three, the grade report only shows the overall grade. So instead of being able to see what Student A scored in creativity, I can only see that Student A has a 87% on the assignment overall unless I look at the student individually. This is an issue, as we like to analyze the students as a group, and it would be incredibly time consuming to view this data one student at a time (also counterproductive, as we already have grade sheets for individual students).
My question is two-fold. One, is there a way to download a report that shows not just Student A: 87%, but Student A: 4/5 in creativity, 8/9 in grammar and 3/6 in form? Secondly, is there another way around this problem?
This is a large course with over 200 students, and the only solution we have come up with so far is to create a questionnaire, then have Teacher A log in as Student A, then B, then C and so forth and complete it. It will be incredibly tedious.
A final note, we cannot separate the assignment into three parts, as the observations of the interviews are not in a digital format that allows us to pull up the entire class at once.
