Adding an assignment - getting 00:00 time default instead of now() time

Hello everyone.

Since updating to moodle 2.7 - when adding an assignment I see the "from" and "due date" is set by default as 00:00 (hour and minute)

is this a bug? is it suppose to be the present time which is for example 12:30 my time now()
