I am also interested in such a feature. A while ago I raised a query on this https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-37675?filter=-2
I hope to get some development work completed over the summer to enable this development. My aim is to release it to the community once fully developed and tested but I must admit: I can't make any promises at this stage.
