Hi, in our main course, the "submit for grading" button (which was "required" in the options) remains usable by the student even when the submission deadline is past. This has already led to some teaching assistants believing a student submission was "late", because the time stamp of the last activity was past the deadline. (I told them this was surely not a different upload, since the options prevent that - but still...) Are we doing something wrong, perhaps overlooking an option? Or is this an intended behaviour, and if so, since when? We would appreciate if the semantics were as follows: "if there is a deadline and late submissions are prevented, the submit button will no longer be shown". Please note that this not necessarily have to mean that a student draft will be automatically put into "final mode" (in case the teacher later changes the deadline to some time in the future). Seeing timestamps that appear to be "after the legal deadline" is somewhat irritating for teaching assistants who have been told "students cannot submit late"... Thank you for any advice or correction! Guido
