My English department at our school is trying to use Moodle and rubrics.
There are six categories that have a maximum score of 9, and a minimum score of 1 mark, to make a total out of 54 marks. This total is then divided by 6 to get an average mark out of 9.
This is the tricky part, we then want to assign a percentage based on that score e.g.
a 9 would be 100%,
an 8 would be from 95-99%
a 7 would be from 90 - 94%
a 6 would be from 80 - 89%
a 5 would be from 70 - 79%
a 4 would be from 55 - 69%
a 3 would be from 40 - 54%
a 2 would be from 20 - 39%
a 1 would be from 0 - 19%
Currently, Moodle does this the other way around. Is there any way to do it this way?
