Its very likely that students will return to take advanced versions of this course for at least three years running.
We have no responsibility to retain the actual work students turn in, only their grades.
So students will come back, and it is helpful, though not critical, to have a student's grade history. What is more critical is having the actual student enrollment data (name, address, vital data, etc.) So keeping them in the database is important, especially as we want to enroll them in future courses without having to start from scratch each year.
But again, all we want to keep are aggregate grades, not the papers they turned in that made those grades. Surely this isn't that hard a request, is it???
