I see, I was going to contest: "but I can and could always see the button and I have never been actually enrolled in any of the courses, as I am just an admin". However I realized that it is obviously because I recently did a system upload. So if I am not mistaken, in this new version, the teacher who created the assignment will not be able to see the button, but anyone else enrolled in the course can.
