I am looking for an assignment type that allows students to upload files and makes files visible to all students after the due date. This may be an assignment type or it may be certain settings for one of the upload file assignments, and it may not be currently possible. There may be a better more elegant way to solve my problem so I will try to explain why I am looking for this particular capability.
The idea is that students will be creating a presentation (probably on powerpoint) and uploading it to the website. I would like to make these presentations available to other students to look at each other's work, but only after the due date lest they be tempted to copy elements of the presentations of others. I am sure that I can download all of the files submitted and make them available to the students in some manual way, but I am looking for an integrated and automatic solution to this particular problem to avoid overburdening the first year teacher.
I know the Q and A Forum only allows students to see other submissions after they send their own and that is the same kind of philosophy that I am looking for here, but with file uploads. If a Q and A forum is my best choice, what would be the way to set that up?
We have our moodle page hosted by mdl2.com and I believe our host uses Moodle 2.2.4 currently. Other details about our moodle site can be given, but if it is a difficult process to find the information desired please tell me how to obtain it. If my explanation of my problem is not clear in some way please let me know so I can increase the clarity of my question.
